Getting an AdSense Account Approved in Indonesia

Recently, there has been a significant amount of chatter on the ‘net about how Google has apparently tightened the requirements for new AdSense Accounts registered in Indonesia

What can you do in order to increase the likelihood that you will be received in to the AdSense program?

The nature of the game is to convince Googlethat they will not be discrediting nor compromising the quality of their advertising network by admitting your site.

First, if you plan to use your own domain and you have not already done so, then register your domain now! Yes, I mean right now. Alternatively, head on over to GoDaddy domain auctions or another source for buying domains and get yourself an aged domain. Do not transfer the domain away from the registrar once you have bought it. Likewise, if you plan to use blogger as the basis of your site, then be sure to get your Account registered as soon as possible. Even if for the first week or so you do not plan to make any posts.

Second, populate your site with original content. You will need to build up a good body of natural, original content. Do not post 50 articles on one day and then nothing for months on end. Publish content naturally and consistently. I imagine by far the most popular type of site associated with new AdSense applications is the blog. If your site is a blog, then use it as a blog and not simply a medium to carry advertisements. Refrain from copying material from Wikipedia or other article directories. Write it yourself, and post it periodically over a 6 month period or more. And remember, you need to have been blogging for 6 months, not have owned a blog for six months! There is a major difference.

Third, refrain from creating sites or blogs simply for AdSense. This is a very simple and old piece of advice from no more authoritative source than Googleitself. They do not admire sites that have been created simply as a vehicle for high paying advertisements. Unless you are genuinely and passionately interested in, and have a broad selection of diverse original content on, Viagra or cheap loans or pet insurance or Paris Hilton videos, then I strongly recommend you do not use this material on the site you use to apply to AdSense.

Fourth, do not try to cheat. Googleare likely to look unfavorably on anything aspect that seems suspicious. For example, if you alter your blog database to make it look like you content has existed longer than it has, but there is not trace of it in googlebot’s logs then quite rightly, Googlewill be suspicious.
